Welcome to the new skyscanner design! The new icons follow the design of the new logotype (designed by KOTO). I worked directly with the skyscanner design team in Scotland and together we built this system with more than 100 icons.
The new icons have a particular graphical character. This character can be built into the icons by applying a certain set of basic building blocks to connect and form the icons.
These building blocks derive from the Skyscanner logotype.
Even though we have a set of rules for the construction of the new icons, there’s a lot of room to find variations for interesting details.
